🪽 Leave a gift in your will
Your donation will be taken off the value of your estate before Inheritance Tax is calculated. If 10% or more of your estate is left to charity, your Inheritance Tax rate may also be reduced. If you have a Will already there may be no need to go to the expense and bother of getting a new one… a simple Codicil (side letter) attached to your existing Will is sufficient guidance for your Executors. 🙏 Your support really makes a difference
In 2024 it cost £154,174 to provide our service, and about 13,730 therapy sessions were provided for clients. Clients donated an average of £5.57 per therapy session, and that helped cover 50% of our costs.
We do our best to keep operating costs as low as possible, and back in 2017 average client donations were £4.80 per therapy session, so average client donation rates have not changed much in over 8 years. The problem is, however, cost of living increases since 2017 have been more significant and are hard to absorb. To assure the long-term future of the centre we need donations to cover about 70% of our costs.
For this reason, we are asking clients , if they can afford it, to consider increasing the amount they donate per session to a target of £10 per session (or more if they can).
